Buddy, a boy of few words

Buddy's still not really a talker. He's a toddler of very few words. On all the developmental benchmarks the boy is behind.

Of course, it's said that Einstein didn't talk until he was three and look what happened to him (dead-end job as a patent clerk, hounded from his own country, and a head full of messy hair).

Still, even with very few verbal skills - the boy clearly knows how to change the subject.

Chatterbox or no, he's pretty damn cute. All my boy has got, on a regular basis, is 'More', 'No', 'Mama' or 'Papa'. I'm working pretty hard on 'Go Dawgs!' though. Sometimes he says 'Goda' at appropriate times. I reckon he'll have it by football season.

You'll be proud to know that your boy can speak Thai. He can say 'cat' because in Thai the word for 'cat' is...wait for it...'miaow'. That is really the word for cat. So when he is saying in English what the kitty says, he is, in fact, also saying in Thai which animal makes the sound. Brilliant! (That was a very sweet video!)
