Do the decent thing

Do the decent thing, Barack Obama, and step down now before things get ugly. Clearly, you can't win in the big states - so why drag this on? Your candidacy is divisive and apparently the press have gotten bored of giving you an easy ride.

Heh.

Don't know if what you suggest will fly. Obama seems pretty firm as he moves toward the convention with a plurality of "ordinary" deligates. My dream ticket remains Clinton-Obama for its historic-ness.

Just one thing...American politics needs American usage, to wit "...press have gotten bored" "media have" perhaps but "press has.."

Then, after the general election, you could refer to the ticket for its historic-mess.

Gotta love this campaign. These two are going to end up tearing each other apart. Only the Democrats could figure out how to lose on W's coattails.

Hahaahahahahaha! I love it.

You, me and my mom are the only Hillary supporters I personally know. We gotta stick together.

Go Hillary! Obama is a fad...nothing more.

I'm loving this. The longer that Dems fight amongst themselves, the longer we have to regroup and get used to the idea of McCain.

While I would love to see a McCain/Hillary fight (since they've partnered on so much legislation together), it would be fun to go after Obama in the general.

As a Republican, I'm torn on who I want to lose more. Everyone loves to hate Hillary. She's an easy target that would mobilize the conservatives. It scares me that people would elect a president based on the concept of "change," "hope," very little experience and apparently some shady connections to Chicago's dirty politics.

I'm also getting tired of people supporting Obama b/c it's trendy. Electing a president isn't a fad, it's a critical decision.

Oh, VolMom is in Hillary's corner also. Rodham-Clinton and Obama, now that's a team.

girl from the south makes baby Vol-in-Law cry. :(

This is a reminder from my POV there are no good choices here, though I think Clinton has some good points and is the best of the three. I guess I can console myself with a likely Jim Webb Vice President slot beside the Democrat nominee. Still hoping for a Ron Paul third party run though.

Vol, what's wrong with Obama?

It's not so much that there's anything wrong with Obama, except that he's not Clinton. I just think she's more qualified, has a better policy vision and represents a better chance of actually dealing with America's healthcare problems. I also believe, despite the rhetoric, that Hillary Clinton is more electable. We've already rehearsed all of her flaws and her "scandals" - Obama is still vulnerable to Republican hacks.

I also think that his camp has used some anti-woman tactics and tacitly encouraging (or at least accepting) the press doing the same. And I'm finding that less and less forgivable.

My post isn't so much a real call for him to step down, but a parody on the consistent (and ridiculous) call for Hillary Clinton not to stand in the man's way.
