Quasi legal question
Does anyone know if there are any rules against advertising a Tennessee liquor store on a blog?

I can't imagine where the problem would be. A store can advertise anywhere, whereas liquor can't be advertised on television, but print and other media is allowed.
Dunno. All that stuff about alcohol and the law always seemed pretty arcane to me. After all, I went to high school in a dry city and a semi-dry county.
But I was just thinking of getting into the liquor store ad business - for select clientele only, mind.

Hard liquor ads currently run on cable channels but not on OTA (over-the-air) TV stations.
Why wouldn't a weblog be considered print advertising where liquor ads a perfectly legal?

You mean that drive-thru beer store on the eastern edge of town was not actually in the L'burg city limits?
Nope - that was handily just shy of the city limits. There were two in fact - one on either side of the highway.
The one on the left (as you left town) got shut down for selling beer to minors...eventually.
I think they may be within city limits now - but now you can actually buy beer in town.
