The company you keep

George Galloway will be joining Jane Fonda on the anti-war speaker circuit - according to a post at Harry's Place.

I know Americans will know him from his Congressional hearings, but this guy is Bad News. He's called for the desertion of British troops in Iraq, he's called for their murder, too. He's also made some not very nice statements after the 7/7 bombings. He appeals to the worst kind of

Jane Fonda, don't tarnish your anti-war efforts with this bozo. Really.

I'd post more but I'm late for dinner engagement.

I know you're right about Galloway but it's hard not to get caught up in his passion. I was watching C-SPAN when they announced that he had beaten Oona King in that Bethnal Green and Bow constituency and Jeremy Paxton acted like such a turd during his interview of Galloway. Galloway gave it right back to Paxton and I enjoyed that.

Galloway is apparently going to debate Christopher Hitchens next month...that should be amusing.

Don't get caught up in that passion. Paxman did act like a boob in that interview, as he often does, but Galloway played some dirty pool in that campaign.
