The Joys of Cousin Marriage

A piece in The Guardian extols the joys of marrying your cousin, which lowers the IQ of progeny by an average 7 points and greatly raises the likelihood of various genetic diseases, especially among already-inbred populations. Around 60% of Pakistanis in Britain marry a first cousin, who is brought over from Pakistan. I think there are several good reasons for banning the practice in the UK.

Remember that in West Virginia you may receive a divorce but that doesn't prevent you from still calling your ex...sister.

I did say to the ViL - "Remember my primary readership is in Tennessee, there's no telling who you've pissed off."

I think it's OK to marry a 2nd or 3rd cousin, just so long as your parents didn't do the same thing.

And yes, I do have some joined-up lines in my family tree. And yes, I do have cousins who have married other cousins. I, sadly, had no hot eligible cousins. (Well, M - but he was too nice for me.)
